New Balance 327 in NYC: My 29,278-Step Walking Day

New York has a funny way of turning a normal day into a walking challenge you never officially signed up for.

On one of my days in the city, my phone counted 29,278 steps — 21.4 kilometres (13.3 miles). That is not a theoretical packing-list number. That is what actually happened.

The shoes

I wore my white New Balance 327s — and they didn’t leave my feet for the next three weeks in the USA.

No blisters. No sore feet. Not once.

My legs? That’s another story. After 29,278 steps, the muscles definitely knew we were in New York. But my feet? They were basically on vacation.

And yes — they were white. Over those three weeks I washed them four times, and my pair came through absolutely fine. No damage, no drama. They just went straight back on my feet.

This isn’t a list of 17 “must-have” travel shoes. It’s one real trip, one very long walking day, three weeks on the road — and one pair I actually wore.

29,278 steps. 21.4 km (13.3 miles). One day in New York.

The screenshot is in Polish. My legs understood it perfectly.

Would I pack them again?

Absolutely. I’d pack the exact same pair.

They’ve travelled with me through four countries now, been washed probably around 20 times, and they’re still doing exactly what I bought them to do. After a wash, they still look good enough that I’m more than happy to wear them.

So no, I don’t need a new pair for the next trip. These ones are coming with me again.

More miles, please.
